Tenet North Cal is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery for a nursing job in San Ramon, California.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. On-call required; When on-call must arrive to the Hospital within 30 minutes.

Minimum Education: BSN preferred

Minimum Experience/Skills:

• Minimum of one (1) year recent experience within the last three (3) years of Full –Time high risk Labor & Delivery experience;
• OB triage and Circulating vaginal & C-section deliveries;
•  (will train to scrub C-sections and train to postpartum/well baby if no experience).

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:

• Current California RN license
• Current BLS certification (AHA certified)
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring is a requirement within 1 year of hire, unless documentation of completion is provided prior to hire
• AWHONN progressive Fetal Monitoring classes are recommended every 2 years
