Dear CACNS Members,
We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for CACNS leadership positions: President-Elect, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute your voice, leadership, and vision to the future of our organization. We encourage you to consider nominating yourself for one of these roles. Your dedication and expertise make you an invaluable part of CACNS, and we welcome your leadership at this important time.
- President-Elect: Act in place of the President when necessary and assume all the duties of the President upon his/her resignation. Mentored by the Board for at least six months to one year prior to assuming the position of President.
- Treasurer: Responsible for monitoring the fiscal affairs of CACNS, establishing a yearly budget, and providing reports of CACNS’s financial status to the Board and membership of CACNS on a quarterly and annual basis as well as the submission of regulatory documents as required.
- Recording Secretary: Responsible to keep a true record of the proceedings of all meetings of CACNS and to distribute these minutes to the Board of Directors within a timely manner. Responsible for electronically storing and archiving all records (documents, photographs, electronic media, etc.) related to the activities of CACNS.
Please submit the attached nomination application to the Nominations Committee Chair Jeannie Meyer at jmeyer@mednet.ucla.edu by October 14, 2025. Candidates must be CACNS members with an active CNS licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing. Step into an exciting opportunity to influence the future of CNS practice across California. The CACNS Board looks forward to welcoming our next generation of leaders!
