Register now for the 2025 CACNS Annual Conference! The theme this year is Synergy in Collaboration: Bridging Ideas and Impact. Join us in person on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 8:30am to 3:30pm at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, for a dynamic day of learning and networking. The conference will highlight the power of collaboration in driving meaningful change and innovation in Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) practice. Seize this opportunity to engage with peers, exchange innovative ideas, and strengthen your impact as a CNS.

We are honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Elizabeth Bridges, PhD, RN, CCNS, FCCM, FAAN, who will explore the evolving role of the CNS as visionaries and transformative leaders in healthcare. Additional presentations will feature CNS-led initiatives in workforce development, surgical safety, and cardiac arrhythmia management. The conference concludes with our endnote speaker, NACNS President Rick Bassett, MSN, RN, APRN, ACNS-BC, CCRN, FCNS, showcasing how innovation and collaboration can amplify the CNS role in transforming patient outcomes and advancing systems of care. Conference Objectives
Discuss the role of the CNS in translating clinical and operational ideas into sustainable practice improvements.
Identify nurse leadership strategies for expanding the CNS workforce in evolving healthcare environments.
Describe methods for evaluating safety and quality outcomes associated with CNS-led technology-driven solutions.
Explain how CNSs integrate advanced pharmacologic knowledge and innovative interventions in managing cardiac arrhythmias.
Define the role of CNS as agents of change, advocates for safety, and leaders in clinical and systems-level transformation.

Parking
Free parking is available on any level at the Arizona Structure, 1311 16th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404. Entrance gate opens at 7:00am and closes at 8:15am. Attendees may exit at any time, but no re-entry after leaving. Do not park in marked stalls with signs for specific permits or departments. Do not block other cars, as violators may be cited or towed. See campus map for more information.
